Trying to scrounge some minor points. Any tricks of the trade for getting the fender Stingray emblems to stay on without speed nuts? I tried using double back tape and a razor to cut out the letters, kind of ugly.
If you don't like the looks of the home made sticky-tape, I would suggest you order a couple of new ones from Trim Parts. I've got them on my '72 and just had a high score regional flight judging.

Didn't realize new ones come with sticky tape already applied. Thanks
It takes a little time but I have taken the smallest ribbon caulk and stretched it out to a smaller diameter and used it as a backing. After installing you can use a heat gun to warm it a bit-helps stick better.
