HiI have a 1965 with a build date of Dec 1964. In the grille area, it looks like there is an attachment point where a j nut would have gone like the 1964 grille attachment points. I was wondering if this is correct and is just left over from the 1964 cars mold, or has my panel maybe been changed. One side has it and the other looks like it may have been filled in, as some one has done work in that area.ThanksTerry

I would suggest the repair was done with over the counter GM '64 repair panel.- Top

Re: 1965 grille area
Here's on my early (014xx) car; original fiberglass AFAIK. 5th ed. 1965 TIM&JG says "top of center support is secured to a tab molded in the fiberglass upper body panel" No mention of early/late production.Attached Files- Top
