could someone advise where to weld rocker molding support bracket on 1966 coupe. if i could get a measurement from the front of rocker channel for each support that would be helpful. they were all rusted out and we have replaced that potion of birdcage and this is the last step. welder is coming tonight so any help today would be appreciated. i could not find measurement in assembly manual and one of the pages has an error on the number of supports on the drawing i think

If you use the chrome sill molding as a pattern you should be able to determine the welded bracket locations by measuring the distance between the mounting holes on the bottom of the sill molding and transferring those dimensions to the birdcage. Unfortunately, I can't provide the dimensions as my car has side pipes and no brackets. -
