'72-73 A/C harness question
Anyone replaced one of these recently? My harness has been cut and I'm debating replacing it. How much is involved in installing it on the cockpit side? I'm not enthusisatic about taking all that apart. Thanks!!

I can understand your lack of enthusiasm for this job...it is, literally, a pain in the neck. You didn't state if this harness is original to the car, but if it is I wouldn't be patching a 42 year old harness but replacing, as you state. Don't know how mechanically inclined you are or how supple your spine is...I just had my dash harness replaced (I know you said A/C harness) and was more than willing to open my wallet and pay an expert to do this for me.Leif

i'm pretty sure you will have to remove the heater core to get at the harness and plug in the firewall.
having said that -- you will have to remove other dash junk too, just not exactly sure which parts.Comment
