    Hoi Daniel,
Well it looks like you're pretty much starting at the beginning!!
It appears that you have quite a good space to work in.
Is that the body in the background of the second picture?
    Good Luck!
    Regards,
    Alan

Looks solid...Do you have a patch piece for the front cross member or are you hammering the cut off piece back into shape ?

Yes, that is the body, I love my garage, I can't imagine going back to working in gravel or outside in the dirt the way it was in the way back, when I could finally afford a garage that was a happy day.

I am going to purchase a replacement from an undetermined vendor, the one I saw at paragon or zip, the other is toast

            Daniel,
I think the supplier to all those vendors is Vette Products of Michigan. They stock the parts and ship FAST, it fit perfect. They also built complete frames. Here are some shots of the #1 crossmember on my '65 I replaced. I removed the lower control arm bracket and put the seam under the bracket.

              Hi Mike,
That appears to be nice repair on what looks like a terrific frame!
              What finish is on it?
              Regards,
              Alan

                Thanks Alan!

I primed the frame with Eastwood Epoxy Primer then top coated it with their Ceramic Semi Gloss Urethane.

                  Hi Mike,
                  VERY nice.
I really think a frame and running gear are the best looking part of the car when well done.
Sometimes it seems a shame to cover it up with a body!?!
                  Regards,
                  Alan
