    Chrome shop for wing nut?

Hey guys, I have a wing nut that needs to be rechromed. I want flash chrome (or as close to that as I can get) and not show chrome. Any recommendations for shops? I have asked around and haven't gotten much insight. Shipping won't be an issue as the item is obviously small. Thanks so much!!!! ARA

I think the problem you are going to have is paying a minimum plating fee of around $100.

There is a plating shop in Elizabethton, TN that does very good OEM quality chrome. I will have to find their number. There is one shop there that I would not let plate anything for me.

If you want high quality show chrome I am not sure they do it, but I will find out this weekend. I know Advanced in Memphis does very high quality show chromel

Ara, what is wrong with the plater in Pompano Beach. Just tell them you do not want show chrome. We also have a plater in Melbourne, Fl.

Who's the plater in Pompano Beach? I would give them a try. Close enough for me that's for sure. Name? Phone number? Any help super appreciated. Thanks Dick and Mike

We have a couple in Pompano. East Coast Chrome 1289 W. Atlantic Blvd. (954) 532-0408 and Sal Custom Plating. If your not happy with either one Deerfield has a couple more.

Ara, I know that John Meissinger sells some original wingnuts that have been replated. You may want to ask him who does his chrome work for him.
