    KO wheel adapter locating pins

I have original KO wheel adapters with the AB logo on the inboard end of the locating pins. I have found a set with an F-C logo which I don't recall seeing. Were the F-C logo pins original as well?

Hi Dan -- out of the 4 adapters off a '66 Vin 131xx, I now discover that two of them have the "AB" and the other two have "nada". I should've noted if it's the LH's that have the AB, and the RH sides are the ones that have nothing.

      Hi Dan -

I found that my left side adapters both have the "AB" logo on the pins - and a casting number D-49939 on the inner side of the cone. On my right side adapter, one of them has the F-C logo on the pins, and a casting number D-49989 on the inner side of the cone, and the other right side adapter has no logo and no casting number. The other difference is that the "right side" legend is stamped upside down.

I wonder if the adapter with no numbers is a replacement??

Here's 3 pics I took years ago. Both cast D-49939 [or maybe 49989] (looking down the throat of the adapter, towards the threaded end). I'd imagine that they were the same casting, just machined differently, left and right handed thread.

Today, I looked at one adapter. Opposite the D- number is a small "c" in a square, followed by a large number "3"; the latter is probably a casting mould number. I haven't rechecked all four to gauge consistency.
