    Mystery Washer / Spacer

I took the driver's door panel off my 69 coupe to lube the window crank mechanism (very stiff). I decided to remove the anti-rattle bumpers to clean them while I was at it. Of course I dropped one into the door. I removed the access panel at the bottom of the door and retrieved the bumper. I saw a broken "plastic" washer / spacer laying in the door (photo attached). I can't see the other half anywhere. I don't see it in the AIM or several catalogs. Can anyone tell me where it came from? I really don't want to remove anything else for a search. After the lube job the window travels freely. I wonder if the "spacer" is really necessary. Your thoughts will be appreciated.

Mike, My guess would be it may be a nylon spacer from the window regulator, behind the crank arm??
