    Early 265 Head Bolt Marking

    I have a early 56 with the 265 and I am wondering if someone can tell me what the head bolt markings were on them. My engine is datedmid December 1955.

      The ones I've seen have a large circle ridge on top. I'll go out and take a pic. of one this morning. bob

              Sheldon I'm sorry I got side tracked. I tried to post it just now and it wouldn't down load? I posted it to a web site where I have some other Pics. Just scroll down to the last Pic and you should find it. The head bolt does have a ridge around the outer portion. Bob
