A212CW Air Filter for 1970

Hello,
I did perform a search but their were various opinions. I am trying to determine the correct wire pattern for a 70 & 71 LT1 air filter, square or diagonal.

Did you try scrolling down to the bottom of this page ?

This is a much latter, SERVICE 212-CW. This type uses an expanded metal screen and a non-oiled type element.

The photos below are of my NOS A329C filter (square grid type with welds) slated for my 1970 Camaro SS350 project that came in a box dated May 1974. I assume that the A212CW filters made in 1974 were of similar construction. This style may or may not have been used in 1970.
