    67 Turn signal flasher

Looking to replace the original Signal Stat 145 flasher with a like replacement instead of the Tung Sol yellow flasher. Can't seem to find one in the usual places. Anyone have a source ?

Check with Peter Lindahl. He is in the member list under "community" button on the above tool bar.

      Re: 67 Turn signal flasher

      Bill,

Several years ago I had several NOS Signal Stat 145 flashers with yellow anodized metal covers but they were all dated in 1964 and 1965 but I believe that I sold them to Pete. The stamped date codes were "T444" (Toronto, 44th week of 1964), "T475", and "T495".

I still have a NOS Signal Stat 145 with a "natural" metal cover dated "S 03 64" (Syracuse, 3rd week of 1964) and two used Signal Stat 145 flashers with yellow painted labels dated "T120" and "T128".

According to my research Tung Sol 323 and Signal Stat 145 flasher were sold over the counter as GM # 383637 in Gr. 2.892 and listed for 1964-1965 models (exc. back-up) as well as 67-69 models.

What is the date code on your 145 flasher?

      Dave

Pulled the flasher, the date code appears to be T 434. Does this make sense if this is the original flasher for an early (Sept 66) build 67 ?

          Bill,
I would say that your flasher was made in Toronto and is dated the 43rd week of 1964. Does your flasher have a yellow anodized finish like the one in my 1st photo sealed in a plastic/cardboard wrapper, a natural finish as in my 2nd photo, or is does it have a "painted" on label?

used natural finish embossed "142 dated "S 375" from Corvair
              NOS natural finish embossed "145" dated "S 03 64"
NOS natural finish embossed "145" dated "T4663"
