Date written on underside of rear deck

Hi All
I was at a friends helping move his car. He has a 1970 LT1 Red / Red Convertible.
The car needs a full restoration. The fuel tank is out. I was under the rear end and under the rear deck there is a date written in
white crayon it is 12/23/69. What is that date assembly ??

More likely the date the fiberglass part was made.

My 70 built 1st week of June has 3-31 in white grease pencil on the deck lid by the ant hole. Wonder if it relates to the body shop assembly. Elsewhere I found the rockwell tags in bedded in the fiberglass with what I believe is the molding date.
