53/54 Generators

Does anyone know the current rating of the old 6V generators?

I am doing some research on the electrical characteristics and wiring of C1's.

Dan,
There were 2 generators and 3 regulators for 53/55, 53 to early 54 was #1102793 (Gen) and 1118725 (Reg) rated at 45 Amps. Mid 54 and 55 (Six Cyl) was the same generator but the part number for the regulator was 1118827 also rated at 45 amps. The 55 V8 was 1108825 (Gen) and 1118826 (Reg) rated at 30 amps. All of this info is published in the new, 6th edition, of the JRM (Dtd Jan 2014), which is available now.
