    Painting a 67 console

Striped the paint off the console and cleaned with MEK, took scotch bright to the surface to be painted .
I'm painting with Acrylic Lacquer. Should I be concerned with any bonding issues?

There is a product called "BULLDOG" that is an adhesion promoter that worked for me on some difficult parts. I believe I purchased it from PEPBOYS....

      Nasson etching compound.
Comes in a spray can from O'Reilly's
      Good Stuff.
Buy the way, TFP configuration left the little "V" grooves inside the outer edge mostly free of paint.
      Sometimes the template shifted slightly.
A thin coat is best. Too thick an application will tend to fill-in the leather grain.
      Good Luck
