I know this is not the place for posting this, but I am looking for some original 67' 427 valve covers. If anyone has any for sale or knows of someone, please let me know. Also is there a proper place to post such a question if one is looking for parts. Thx Dave

Re: 67 427 valve covers
Also please do your homework on be valve covers BEFORE you buy. There are many nuances and unique characteristics with all the BB covers and Corvettes are no exception. Lip, location of wire hold downs, drippers, etc are just a few. Ara- Top

Re: 67 427 valve covers
I know you did not ask, but reproductions are available from Crane's Corvette in San Diego. I believe they are in the $400 range. I am also in the market for a set and would prefer original. I have no idea how accurate the reproductions are and judge. Anyone have any experience with the reproductions?- Top

Re: 67 427 valve covers
Two years ago I dot a set from Cranes for a L71 I restored. They seemed close but not perfect. I'm not a expert on the differences, but here are a few photos of them. Rich p.s. Cranes would probably send you some detailed photos if you ask them to.- Top
