I will start this thread with this disclaimer, that I have no connection to the sale of any of these cars, just posting the info for anyone who may be interested in some items of possibly, significant historical value.
On September 28th and 29th, 2013 (with a preview on Fri the 27th) there will be an auction in Pierce Nebraska of the contents of Lambrecht Chevrolet, I guess its been closed up for many, many years. Some cars have been stored indoors, like the 1978 Corvette silver anniversary edition (Pace car maybe?) and the white C-1 pedal car
I can just imagine the records that are located there in the shelves of the office, no computers back then, I'm sure
Then, there are the cars that were stored outdoors
, I'm sure they are in rough shape, but some have as little as 5 miles on them, What a shame!!
I will attach 3 videos of about 8 minutes each
I even saw a copy of my first car, a white 1965 Impala SS, (mine was a 283) and the one in the video was a big block 396 car.
I wonder what some of those cars will sell for?, if anyone goes, take some pictures.
Regards
Roy
