1963 am radio light
Getting ready 4 Nats. issue I need to resolve, Per JM Radio light should function with key in accessary and on position, mine works in those positions only with headlight switch in on or park postion ???? AIM and Service manual don't show any HELP ???? Appreciate any HELP pictures or wiring diagram of connections .....

The two things that must be done for the light in the radio to work is: the headlight switch has to be in either the park position or headlight position AND the radio must be turned ON!
If your 63 works like that it is working perfectly! The 63-64 judging manual needs fixing and not your Corvette!

Joe is right, as usual, the PV manual also is not correct. It states that ignition switch must be in acc or on. If you turn on the lights, and then turn on the radio switch, that completes the circuit and it 'lights' up. The grey dash lamp is controlled by the on/off switch on the radio, not the ign switch.1964 Red FI Coupe, DUNTOV '09
