    63 low-note horn (455)

Between last Fall's PV and today, the 455 horn on my blue car apparently went to horn-heaven. Today, when I was running through an operations check it just went "blat". Not a nice sound and turning the adjustment makes no difference. Not good....

Need some urgent help here, as the car's going to Nationals for Duntov in a few days. Don't think I can get the one I have repaired in time, so, though I don't usually ask here, anyone got another good 455 they'd part with, please PM me....

Alternatively, if someone thinks they can quickly repair it if I Fedex it Monday, please let me know...

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Mike,
You might try Dennis Portka 716-649-0921 or Joe Perri 312-307-1977 for a quick rebuild or possibly they have one already rebuilt they will sell

Spray it inside with oil (WD) type and hook it directly up to a good battery. Let er blow.
