    TCS hoses

I tried doing a search for TCS, "TCS", *TCS*, and get "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

Which line goes to the distributor from the end of the TCS solenoid with two ports? I've seen pics of it both ways.

    Mike,
    by entering
transmission and control and spark and solenoid in the search box
I received a full page of threads that might show the info you need.

Short answer - it makes no difference from a technical point of view. The ports are both open or closed at the same time depending on the solenoid. It's not an "either-or" scenario.

Having said that the routing in the upper photo is what I would expect. It's neater and has less chance of interfering with the air cleaner.

Mike, Rather than rely on photographs which as you have found are only confusing, why not use the AIM? That is the instructions to the employees installing the parts and not someone's idea that may or may not be accurate.

that first pic is one I posted awhile back. John Hinckly gave me a great explanation as to how those ports operate. I'll see if I can find it. I believe it does matter as to how the hoses connect. You could try each way while you shift into third and check the rpm rise.
