Where to Get Corvette Display Boards

    Hi all,

I can't find my post from yesterday anywhere, so I'm trying again. Just looking for a good company that makes the display boards that people set up on the little easels next to their car. I'll have my '57 race chassis at Hampton, but I'd like to get a display board so I can have a pic of what it looked like racing with the body on. Anyone know of a good company that makes these?

    Thanks,

    Bob

Try your local sign shop. Fast Signs & others. My local shop did mine. I just emailed them a picture & write-up. They attached to a realty sign. Cost $90.

Fellow NCRS member Tom Yoda makes are great display board with a tripod. You should be able to find him on this Board. If not I have his contact info filed away. I'd highly recommend him.

I had one made by Danny Whitfield. He customized the artwork to match the colors of my 68 and added the breakdown of the car similar to what you would find on a window sticker. http://www.dannywhitfield.com/

Jeff, they look good, but that heavy metal around the car is an accident waiting to happen.

The metal stands are an option. The stands, however are portable, folding and are designed to be assembled at the show and the car driven over the base plate to prevent wind, or any other movement from occuring. You have to move the car to get the stand to release. Very safe.
