Ron,
Most of the original black air cleaner lids are void of their silk screens cause the fumes along with a rag wipes them off.

I must have 30 original lids 65 up, no issues with original silk screen presence as long as you do not use paint thinner to get the crud off.

On the real 65BB lids, there was a characteristic paint flaw that shows on the real ones, that hint was posted in the thread mentioned above.



Look close guys - this is NOT a double strike, I know it looks like that at first glance, but it is not a double strike on the CW screen ....
