That should never happen if done right and pressed in.

I had 4 sleeved and drove the car once and rechecked the brakes. One cylinder was totally dry, two were moist (couldn't tell whether they were leaking or had rebuilding residue on them ), one leaked so bad it left a puddle on the garage floor. Don't know where it was leaking from, but sent the 3 back to have redone. So they can leak.

I have had several done (including masters) over the years in Stainless and never a problem with any of them. I use only one source for stainless sleeving, Brake & Equipment Wharehouse in MN. They are tops for consistently excellent quality and can also supply new kits at reasonable prices. I have also seen several ruined castings by people who buggered the job. Dan

I had Apple Hydraulics do the master and wheels with brass sleeves. The master was fine. As stated above, one wheel leaked really bad and I couldn't tell about the other two. I sent them back to Apple and they fixed them under the one year warranty.
