    1965 stingray fender delamination

Hello; I took my car out for the first drive today, and noticed that the fender has separated - 'DELAMINATED'; on the passenger side in the engine bay area. This is the joint next to the hood for the front fender. The split section is about 10 inches long (it's just above the expansion tank hose which runs along the fender. Would anyone have a suggestion on what material (epoxy ? etc..) to use, in order to join the two sections back? The split looks to be about 1/8" high... Before running out to Lowe's or Home Depot.....for two part epoxy, I want to make 100% sure !!
Thank you in advance ! David Kalaydjian

Are you talking about where the inner fender meets top surround

Yes Keith; that's confirmed. It starts at the front and goes to the middle of the fender......

You can use Pliogrip by Valvoline. This is what is used on current production cars for bonding panels and they have formulas for fiberglass. You will need to get it in the seam and clamp the parts together. Sets quickly.
