Information on a 1982 Greenwood Corvette GTO
Hi, I have a friend in Norway that owns what he believes is one of the two GTO racers built in 1982 .. Greenwood built 47 cars around this period but only 2 of the GTO style.
Here is the vin number 1G1AY0786C5104727 , it shows up as a 1982 car checking the vin #. He has a certificate of Authenticity signed by both Greenwoods in 2011 . However the certificate also shows 022-82 on it.
Let me know your thoughts on this car and if it is the real thing, or one of 47 they built , but not one of the two .
