'69 Muncie Tail Housing Bolts - Again

Hi everyone,

Sorry to ask the same question but from reviewing the archives there was not a single answer to what would comprise correct Muncie tail housing bolts. My original '69 M21 has bolts which all simply have 2 hash marks - no other markings. Anyone know if these are original?

Jack,
I only remember seeing letters on the bolts. I have head mark C on one of the 2 here in the shop and I am not able to see the other at this time.
They both came in with matching lettered head marks.
Most of the muncies here (about 4 more) all had a mixture of bolts in them.

Jack, I have a data base on what comprises a Muncie 4-speed by build date...
When I get a "Virgin" trans I record the casting numbers, VIN and location, the "P" number, the part number tag, the speedo drive gear, and the head markings of all the bolts that hold it together...
I have close to 100 examples recorded...
If you have the "P" number, I can look up what it should have...

Top 3/8 course are----RBW
Long bottom 7/8 course----TR
Short bottom 7/8 course----G (offset)
