    1960 Weatherstrip - part number help

    Looking at some NOS parts and need help with numbers;
    • Trunk w/s...I cannot find the part number in the AIM. I am looking at part # 3814213...is that correct part? (is that original number or updated number?
    • Door w/s...AIM calls out (LH) 3762533 (RH) 3762534 & I am looking at #(LH) 3723269 / 3736270. Are these correct replacement numbers?
    Thanks, Dan

    GM #3814213 is not the trunk weatherstrip. It is the folding compartment lid weatherstrip applicable to 1953-60 Corvettes. It's not the original part number. That was GM #3753701.

    The original door weatherstrips for 1960 were the part numbers you quoted from the AIM. GM #3736269 and 3736270 are applicable to 56-E59 Corvettes.

        It turns out that the GM #3814213 was used for BOTH the folding top cover as well as the trunk. This is a weatherstrip that is not molded but rather just a strip that's 160" in length.
