I have a '97 C5 as well as a '65 Coupe (TF 11/2012). Any idea when '97's might be judged by the NCRS? Here are a couple of pictures of the two.IMG_4791.jpgIMG_4790.jpg

Re: When Will '97's Be Judged By NCRS
Mike, the topic was brought up in an informal discussion at the Texas gathering a few months ago. One very good point brought up was the fact that it is nearly impossible to view the underside without a lift which I doubt many, if anychapters have access to. Lifts would have to be transported to all meets and if there were many '97 on cars time and logistics would be a problem. It is a problem we will need to solve to accomodate newer cars.- Top

Re: When Will '97's Be Judged By NCRS
This topic was discussed in Kissimmee judges meeting and as Steven indicated, judging the bottom of the car was one issue and preparing the JM was another. Roy did not discounted all together, but it's not be considered at this point. It was discussed as a way to bring in a younger member, but many stated that they expected that with the introduction of the C4, but from a statistical standpoint, it did not have the impact they anticipated. I think, C4s just brought in more members like me, early to mid fifties.Ed Nieves
