Union label C4 1992

My 1992 convertible, built Nov.17 1991 does not have a Union Label sticker. Is mine the only one or did they start putting this label on at a later date. The original owner was a union man and his son says it never had one. Does any body know more about this ?
I am preparing the car to be judged next month and would like to know.

As far as I know, my original-owner 1992 coupe built at almost the same time as yours does not have such a label.
