I haven't ordered a lot of items from the Doc, but I have liked the items that I've received. (Excluding the customer service. Not exactly the people person type.
Debbie, I believe?)
My latest order included the Green Temp Wire Lead for a 1970 coupe. (PN1148099 Fits 63-78) I explained my car has a barrel pin on the temp sending unit and NOT the flat blade type shown in the catalogue. I needed the barrel type connector. They assured me of all their years of experience.
I received the blade type connector which indicates it fits 56-69 & 73-77 on the parts bag. Yep, it differs from what is in the catalogue. When I called and advised them the blade type plug wouldn't fit my car, I was told it was my fault for not telling them I was NCRS. What does NCRS have to do with putting a square plug on a round sending unit? Again, my fault, they haven't made barrel plugs in 20 + years. She agreed to refund if I shipped it back.

Ordered at the same time, but arriving in a seperate box on another day was a 1970 Radiator Core Support for the 1970. It arrived damaged, the radiator saddles were pushed out thru the box and one of the fan shroud studs was broken off. This item was made by Coffman Corvette and shipped to me by Corvette Central. The box had Corvette Central packing tape all over it.(Not sure how ordering/shipping from Doc works?)
I advised Doc the part was damaged, the had me leave it out for UPS and would ship another one. The second Core Support showed up yesterday looking like this. A damaged box with repairs, inserted into another box. Again with Corvette Central packing tape. Same damage, the saddle was bent and the stud broken off.
I called Doc again and informed them of another damaged Core Support. I was told that this hasn't happened in 25 years, they would refund my order and any future orders would need to be paid with a money order, no returns or refunds. Looking forward to spending my money elseware.
