C3 Windshield question

I am only familiar with 68 thru 72's, but is there any difference in an original LOF shaded windshield, say from 68 thru 82?

Yes, there were 3 different basic differences in the configuration of the windshields over the 68-82 period. These were 68-72, 73-77, and 78-82. There were also minor differences such as "Safety Plate" versus Safety-Float", etc.

Just an FYI - My 71 LT-1 #4504 with a December 18, 1970 build is the first windshield with "Safety Float" that I and my 70 - 72 counterparts have seen.
