    1968 Reproduction Center Console Help

Placing a new Center console in place, I see that the sides that rest on the "Tunnel" don't lay on the carpet like the original. It sticks up enough to put a finger under it. I haven't installed the screws on either end yet. Don't know if this will help.

Anyone run into this? Also, is a Heat Gun an idea?

    Thanks,

I had good luck with my #8929-20 fron Paragon. It is the padded type and not the hard plastic kind.

I wish I had checked with Paragon first...I've got this one now. I guess I'll buy a heat gun and just work it into place. I was watching Mecum last night and noticed a C-3, and the console seemed a bit "Off" the carpet as well. However, I want it to be "RIGHT"

      Thanks for your help!
