Here's the BFG Silvertown non DOT spare from our '63 coupe with original Powerglide & original 300hp engine. Car had 67,000 miles as the title documented.

I believe this tire was original to the car, maybe on the road wheels at one time but was inside the spare tire tub when we got the car. IIRC the whitewall was the proper width for 1963.

When I bought 5 radials for the car, I had the spare dismounted and later sold it.

What is it that you want to see. I have my original Firestone whitewall out of the tub at this moment. It has never been on the road. Still has the green film on the whitewall and tire nubs.

You need to be a little more specific. US Royal? BF Goodrich? Jet Aire? Firestone? The most obvious mark on a repop will be the D.O.T. beside the manufacturing date. I can tell you a repop US Royal whitewall will have a 1" stripe. Original US Royals have a 7/8" inch stripe. If you see a Jet Aire it is an original as I don't think a repop Jet Aire is even made. None of the repops excepts the BF Goodrich will fit in an original tire tub while inflated.
