Re: BJ event this year
Well said Roy, and thanks for contributing your knowledge. I can tell you many of my SAAC, MCA, and Mopar friends certainly wish that their organizations were as dedicated, involved, and focused on accuracy about their cars at BJ as NCRS is about theirs. For them it is always caveat emptor on all claims, even that Boss9 with the welded in VIN stamp patch that sold for over $150K.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top

Re: BJ event this year
You are right, this may be a negotiating ploy to restructure the contact SpeedTV has, and if it happens, I'm sure Velocity would love to have BJ in addition to Mecum. I really like the Mecum coverage much better than the BJ coverage, as a car nut anyway, not all that "Social Media" and celebrity stuff going on. But since BJ is set up as a circus/gong show kind of event, maybe nothing would change.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top

Re: BJ event this year
After last year and all the commercial over Corvette action this year was no surprise. I got so sick of seeing friggin old rebuilt Dodge stuff I only watched about 2 hours and had my belly full. Speed channel has thoroughly ruined the broadcast, and does Steve really think he looks cool with sunglasses on indoors? It has become apparent that Speed and Barrett-Jackson are no friend to our hobby and have sold out to the blue oval people. But, I guess when you don't have a real sports car (referring to the video on Corvette/Mustang video on YouTube) ya gotta buy you way into the garage. After all, there are those of us that have Corvettes and those that want oneKurt Geis

Re: BJ event this year
That's fine, but why is he in the picture every minute, and why does he spend so much time on the microphone? He does'nt need to be in front of the camera all of the time. That would be much better for his condition. His constant presence and influence shows very poor management abilities. In the auctions that I've had a hand in running (not related to cars), you had to look very hard to see me.- Top
