    Is the distributor cap shorter for 63-65 Fuel Injection (for clearance of the top shielding)? Thanks, Don H.

        Yes -- here's the original cap and wire off a '64 Olds V8 (used the same cap).

            Yes -- here's the original hhort tower cap and wire [dated 4Q63] off a '64 Olds V8 (used the same D-310 cap).
