last chance for free balls boys. i just used my Mongoose rebound sterap rivet peening tool for the first time since replacing its metalic gonade. the ole tool( the Mongoose, not me) works as well as it did when i bought it 25 years ago. i have 99 of the balls left so if you have a mongoose, i'll be happy to supply you spare balls at no cost. mike

Re: free balls
Hi Mike, I haven't been On Board in quite some time, glad to see you are still using the "Mongoose" I supplied you with all those many years ago. Admittedly the ball bearings were it's weak link but easily remedied, otherwise you'll probably agree that the assembly is bullet proof and fool proof in usage. (It will I'm sure. survive all of it's original purchasers) I have not advertised any for sale in a very long time. Cheaper alternatives have become available , my increasingly high component and machining costs dictate the eventual price of the tool and probably would discourage the amateur restorer from purchasing it. But if anyone is really interested in acquiring the 'Best' tool for riveting rebound straps they are certainly still welcome to contact me.

Re: Meet Pete Schweddy
Terry a rental program would be problematic for me because of the hassle and delays involved with cross-border commerce. Increasingly expensive shipping costs are another significant detriment in implementing a rental arrangement. Thank you for your suggestion, I'll look at the details of my last sale which occurred about 3 years ago, I seem to recall that I actually 'lost' money on that transaction which I had consented to do as a favor to a member. Cheers- Top

Re: free balls
Ever consider a rental program?
had all of this trouble with your balls or at least my rental fee would have compensated you for
your busted balls.
