    '63 doors with cracks on raised handle pads

    All:

    Looking for advice on properly repairing small cracks (fissures) in the raised pads under the door handles. They're stress cracks, I'm sure; but, I want to repair them properly so they don't reappear. Also, I don't want to change the contour of the raised pad itself. Anyone experience this problem and how did you permanently correct it. Thanks
