Supplier for Whittek clamps ?

I am trying to find someone who has a 2 1/16 upper radiator hose repop Whittek clamp, that isnt some junk made in China, and will actually not bend and break ? Any help would be appreciated

There is a company that is advertising in Hemmings, that states that they are now (recently) reproducing Wittek clamps on the original tooling using same/similar materials as original. Company is Ames Performance. Website is www.amesperf.com They primarily supply Pontiac parts, but Wittek hose clamps should all be the same, as long as the correct size is ordered/specified.

Don't know much about the company, but perhaps others do. Their clamps can also be dated. You may have to call and discuss with someone from the company to get all the details.

I also know that Paragon and LICS and DR REBUILD also sell these clamps......but I do not know the source of manufacture. DR REBUILD at one time had a very large supply of original NOS, but this supply may now be gone.

If someone finds a functional AND accurate replacement for Wittek tower clamps -- please let us all know. I frequently hear owners compalining about the functional quality of the current reproductions.
