Well here we go ...took the winshield washer apart...all the pulleys, and wires etc...Does anyone have any good tips on how they go all ba k together? It was really a puzzle when I took it apart 20 years ago...Also what is the correct paint colour for the wainshield washer motor?

The windshield wiper motor was cadmium plated, not painted. Having said that, I sprayed mine with glossy silver paint, then took 1500 or 2000 grit sandpaper to it to remove the gloss. It looked good for years, but now some of the paint is wearing off the corners. I don't know if you are planning to have your car judged via NCRS, but a good judge can tell that it has been painted. There is actually a cad paint in an aerosol can. Can't vouch for the resulting color.- Top

i believe the underdash parts are pot metal and they have natural finish. Any part that is steel would have been cad-plated. The washer pump controller that sits on top of the plastic fluid container is pot metal, but I recently had mine restored and it came back gold colored; paint I believe.- Top
