C1 Hardtop Change Date

Looked through archives but did not find an answer. Is the change date from 57-58 to 59-60 style hardtops known. Did it start with the very first 59 produced or did it start sometime in late 58 and what timeframe might that have been?

My 59 vin # 53-- has the 59-60 style top

Thanks for reply Al! Is your vin "53" or "5300 plus"? If it is the early vin, I am wondering how far back in the 58 model year might the 59-60 style top possibly appeared? I ordered the 58-60 Judging Guide but haven't received yet. I hoping that it may have this info but if it doesn't, I will still be looking for the answer.
Basis for my question is that my car is a May 28, 1958 build and the top I have is the single one-piece rear SS lower channel.
