I broke the left shaft on my radio that the knob goes on. Unless someone has a better idea I will need to buy another one. Jerry Rudbeck suggested having a jeweler solder it together which will be my second choice. I would rather get an old radio and exchange the part. thanks Joe

Good morning Guys, I went on the forum last nite to post for a radio but as of this morning nothing. And I also went on ebay an saw one that had a bid of around $300 which may be the answer if it doesn't get crazy. Last nite after I stopped crying I went out to the shed and J B welded the shaft on and crossed my fingers. Well I just checked it and it worked. But I still want to replace it. I'll try to get one and send it to Jerry Rudbeck who suggested taking to a jeweler and having them solder it. If I can get a used one for 3 or 4 hundred and then have Jerry replace the broken part it's worth it to me for peace of mind. Thanks guysComment

There is a But it Now @ $250 on ebay right now. I just checked. There was one that ended 2 days ago @ $53 but didn't make reserve. It was a Corvette deal so reserve may be high.Comment

I J B weld the two pieces together. The break was clean. I used a toothpick to put on the mix. Today I put the knobs on and it works!! Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated. JoeComment
