Here at another very successful NCRS Regional meet. If you can get down here on Saturday you will see some of the finest Corvettes in the USA.
Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Chapter.
Scott
Your are correct Scott, I just returned from there and was impressed with the great selection of cars and the wonderful job the
Pittsburgh Chapter did putting together the event.
Congrats.

I made it to Altoona but can't make it thru the website to find out WHERE IN ALTOONA????? Can you help? Planning on getting there early tomorrow but can't find out where I'm going.
thanks!
Pam
Hi Pamala,
It's VERY east to find the Convention Center.
It's on Plank Road very near the Plank Road exit of route 99. There are signs for the Convention Center and Convention Center Road as Vinnie mentioned. Look for NCRS signs too.
LOTS!!! of cars!
Regards,
Alan

i stopped by on friday and people are getting carried away with this over spray on the intake manifold. i looked at a 65 396 and i know my 65 396 i picked up at the st louis factory on april 16 never had near that amount of engine red on the intake manifold.
Good observation Clem. The factory placed a removable cover (like a small tent) over the intake when the 396 block was painted, so only the extreme edges of the aluminum intake would have orange paint. I think some restorers haven't taken the time to understand the manufacturing process.

Thanks again for the good compliments for the Pittsburgh Chapter. But it's not just the chapter effort you know. It takes all of you.
A local Altoona, PA TV station featured our regional on Fri night. Someone must have seen the plug as spectators poured in Fri and Sat.
Rumor has it though that old Clem snuck in the back door. Now I don't know if that's true of not. LOL
It was great seeing you and John Walko and company at the show Clem. Thanks for coming.
Tell us more of your thoughts besides overspray.
Vinnie took 1000's of pics at the show. Hint.
