Re: '74 454 ??? Need expert opinions
Pamela,
Your formula is similar to what pretty much everyone in the hobby uses to come up with a guesstimate indicating that their Corvette is 'rare', but by the same token the compounding error factor introduced with each assumption means that the end number has no real credibility. It's possible to continue down the option list taking into consideration every feature your car has and just as importantly DOESN'T have and you'll soon discover that the numbers indicate that your car is 'one-of one' or less- just like everyone else's Corvette.
I've been looking at '73's for over 20 years in person and online and have never seen one identical to mine.- Top

Pam------
If one considers all the various options, body styles, colors, interiors, etc., the number of possible combinations is ASTRONOMICAL ( I calculated it once for a 1969 and as I recall it was in the hundreds of thousands). So, as has been mentioned by others, the chances of any two cars being exactly alike is remote and, thus, virtually every car is "one-of-a-kind".In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Well Stuart, I guess we are both out of luck on this one!
Does your car have air? How about the maplight? Could you tell me how you determined where the car was originally sold?
What color is yours? Mine is yellow...not for long but is still the original color. Needs to be stripped, but im not ready for the $10,000 paint job yet so will have some fun with it first...
my car has a/c,pb,ps,am/fm,map light,deluxe leather interior,tilt tele......auto
the original dealer info I got from getting the dealer shipper from NCRS.......so mine is an original California car.....33k orig miles.....
was Dark brown w/saddle interior but just repainted Torch Red....CORVETTEATGARAGE.jpg- Top
