The genesis of my Corvette addiction

My son found these at my parents house. These four were in terrible condition so I had them restored. My parents bought these for me when I was 3 years old. I found two others that are Bowtie/Duntov cars I remember thinking that they are the coolest looking cars and nearly 45 years later, I still feel the same way. Happy fourth to all.

Mark, yes they are body off restored and like grown up Corvettes, I have probably spent more on them than they are worth.

        Hi Steve,
        NICE!
Those four might be the EV version of the Corvette that was the HOT rumor back then...... NO gas filler doors and just decorative engine compartments!!!!!
        Regards,
        Alan

Hi Tom.NW redline restorations in Idaho restored the cars. It was missing wheels and a couple of them needed hoods and new windshields. Nice guy with quick turnaround time. Three of the cars are dated 1967 and one 1968.

This thread had me wondering if any of mine were still around, and I found a few. Unrestored "survivors".

The four on the right are dated 1979 on the bottom, "Kidco" company. The one in the middle with the hood and roof decal is dated 1975 (Hot Wheel). The Nomad and '67 Camaro are both Hot Wheels dated 1969. The blue '68 in the middle is dated 1967 on the bottom. My grandmother and my uncle both had new 1968 Corvettes, I think my grandma's was blue, so this one was probably a gift from my grandma on my first birthday. The paint's a little worn and the wheels don't look aligned quite right, but she still rolls straight
