Looks like your observation applies to C2's also. My 66 300HP has the repro fuel line touching the repro lower radiator hose. I have some scraps of Thermo Tec left over from my carpet install so it looks like I have a small project.
Temps don't get real high here in Oregon for percolating problems but it won't hurt to insulate that fuel line.
