GM used some vinyl top codes on 1971-72 Chevelles, at least in one plant. I don't know where you can find this on a 1972 Corvette. Do you have the tank sticker, dealer order copy, or stuff like that?

all 64-67 Chevelles used a two letter code for exterior color. the second being the top color. but not so on Covettes. unless you have a tank sheet or original window sticker you will not know
