C3 seat fiber glass seat backs

I have two fiber glass seat backs one I think is an orginal unit. The # on the back's inside is 3974092. On the other one the # is 3333?7.

I assume the 3974092 is original. Does anyone know what the other one is? Service replacement or a reproduction?


Remember both are fiberglass.

GM #333387 was the seat back panel used for 1974 Corvettes which became SERVICE for 1970-73 when the 3974092 was discontinued.

Regardless of what anyone says, I don't believe these seat backs were traditional fiberglass material. They were some sort of plastic that had some type of fiber reinforcement but they were far too brittle and breakage-prone to be traditional fiberglass material.
