What system did you use in Thailand? Last time there we had to buy a temporary I.P. (forget the name), but it worked so slow we lost a bundle in the stock market. Sure by now things have improved. Thailand is my wife's home country and she returns often, but I don't like to travel that much although the time has improved for us going through Europe (Frankfurt w/Lufthansa). I still hope to get over to see you one day to collect the Beer you promised, Ha!
Gary, Rob -- you IT guys are so good that I'd like you to quote me a price on a little problem I have with webmail (all that I use) messages arriving with place names (countries, cities, streets) stripped from the body of the text. Happens only on my newer computer with Ubuntu (linux); if I crank up my back-up machine w/ Windows XP and Outlook, all is good. Local ISP (Telus) says solution is to use Outlook --- (duh). Can't find any similar reported problem on the Ubuntu forums.
