    60 brass wire ties

I have a 60 fuel car without windshield washers. I believe there should be 2 brass wire ties in the front headlight wiring area around the wires left and right side. Can anyone describe where or show a picture?
Also I do not have windshield washers do I need brass wire ties in the firewall wiring, if so where?
    Thanks for anyone's help, Bill

      William -

What's shown in section 12 of your 1960 Assembly Manual?

        William,

I don't have a 1960 AIM but check the sheet for the heater hoses. Later models have a tie on them that I think is just forward of the generator.

        I don't remember any other.

        Regards,

        Dennis

See the AIM section 12 sheet 2. There are four brass ties. Two around the wire harness in the front, I. E. the headlight, park lights and horn wires. There are also two under the dash around the wire harness. There is also a plastic tie above the steering column holding the turn signal wires and the windshield cable. The last one I found a picture in the 58-60 Corvette Restoration Handbook
