68 wiper door canister/actuator
Turned the wipers on today and the actuator rod broke at the threaded portion on the rod that comes out of the canister. It broke almost where the threaded portion starts, leaving one or two groves.
This is the correct canister for this car (July 68 build) and I would like to avoid a service replacement. Anybody fix these or is it impossible?
Btw, the door is freed up now, I had not turned the wipers on for a long time and should have checked before I did, but that's all water under the bridge now.
