So from previous replies I am assuming that this car was not a Z 06. Besides the car auction a bunch of parts were For Sale. Including in the Parts List were a couple of standard size gas tanks. I am guessing the Z 06 was born with one of these standard size gas tanks.

Not what I read. I read that this particular car was a very well documented Z06 having a small tank. I'm not a Z06 expert, but I assume not all were big tank cars.

I believe a Z06 with the 36 gallon tank would have been ordered also with a N03 option.

As PapaSmurf noted there were several small tank cars built - 136 of the 199 in fact! And, I just happen to own one, LADY!

VIN is listed with "new arrivals" http://proteam-corvette.com/just.html

Richmond, IN = Original Chevrolet Dealer, right? Pro-Team listing says "Sold" but does that mean re-sold by Pro Team, or just not available?
